The D.O.M.E. project (Design your Own Multimedia learning Environment) is designed for teaching professionals in the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM), and aims to bring an immersive practical experience that targets students from all years of schooling.

Students are invited to become scientists, engineers and storytellers in an inspiring experience that includes building a low-cost planetarium system and developing presentations that will engage the local community and allow them to benefit from the planetarium and its associated resources.

The Planetarium
The project will allow the creation of cardboard planetaria, providing a toolkit to support the creation of presentations. The planetarium developed by the students will stay at the school and will provide a non-formal environment for education, allowing for interdisciplinary collaborations between teachers and students. Students and teachers will then co-create with the partners the dissemination strategy that will ensure the participation of their local communities.

D.O.M.E. project is coordinated by NUCLIO.
