ASSESS – Empowering Teachers to Design Innovative Assessment Tools in a Digital Era

Why do we assess our students? What added value does this assessment bring to both students and teachers? Can we use assessment to stimulate cognitive, social and emotional development? Can assessment become a powerful tool for the development of students’ skills and teachers’ practice?

ASSESS was a project funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program and coordinated by NUCLIO, which has become one of our permanent initiatives, aimed at addressing these and many other questions about student assessment. In an era where we recognize human diversity as one of our greatest assets and where young people need to develop new skills to navigate an uncertain and complex future, rethinking how we view student assessment is essential.

This initiative offers various resources through the project’s website, as well as consultancy and support via workshops, presentations, training sessions, and contributions to discussions on assessment at both national and international levels.
