“Waves of Change: Changing Hearts and Minds through Citizen Science”, the final conference of the OTTERS project, will take place on May 23rd and 24th, 2025, in Taguspark, Oeiras, Portugal, hosted by NUCLIO in collaboration with the Oeiras Valley Science Festival and Penguin Random House editorial group!
This conference aims to build bridges between citizen science, education and civic engagement, bringing together researchers, citizen science initiatives, educators, students and citizens, through the exchange of good practices and showcasing the OTTERS project’s contributions to these fields over the past three years.
Through oral presentations, workshops, posters and demonstrations, the conference will showcase innovative strategies to promote citizen science and water literacy, to engage communities, build capacity in education and scale up impactful initiatives.
