Astronomy Education Adventure in the Canary Islands 2022

NUCLIO and the IAC join hands again to promote the eighth edition of Astronomy Education Adventure in the Canary Islands. In 2022, we hope to be able to organize a face-to-face course.

COSPAR 2022 – Athens

The COSPAR Panel on Education will hold training sessions and other events during the COSPAR Assembly. The Panel invites teachers of all grade levels and subject domains willing to dive into a real STEAM experience to participate in these events.

CliC-PoLiT Summer School 2022

Venue: Marathon, Greece
Organised in the framework of teacher training activities of ESIA.
This course will introduce teachers to the concept of Light Pollution and fight against Climate Change as well as inquiry-based science teaching techniques in order to develop, improve and enhance their teaching skills and practices.

DiSTARS Summer School 2022

The DiSTARS course will introduce teachers to the concept of (digital) storytelling as a catalyst for the effective interaction between Arts and STEM disciplines.

PLATON – POLAR STAR 2022

Organised in the framework of teacher training activities of ESIA.
We will focus on the POLAR STAR interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary methodology and on the high-quality activities on Arctic research and Space Exploration that cover both primary and secondary education.

LaSciL Summer School 2022
Dates: 3-8 July 2022
Venue: University of Crete at Voutes, Crete.
Organised in the framework of teacher training activities of ESIA.
The LaSciL summer course will engage teachers in a productive dialogue concerning the proposed methodology of linking large scientific infrastructures to school education.

Digi-Science Summer School 2022
Dates: 3-8 July 2022
Venue: Marathon, Greece
Organised in the framework of teacher training activities of ESIA.
The Digi-Science course aims to equip science teachers with the digital competences, tools and resources needed to confidently implement student-centred and collaborative learning experiences in new situations like online/distance and blended learning.
