The eighth edition of the ASTRONOMY EDUCATION ADVENTURE IN THE CANARY ISLANDS will be held from 24 to 29 of July 2022 in a hybrid format – face-to-face in San Cristóbal de La Laguna (Tenerife, Canary Islands) and online.
In 2022, the course is under the theme “Astronomy for Sustainable Development” with the aim of joining the celebrations of the International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development.
In addition to the program of lectures and workshops on Astronomy and Astrophysics, this year the course includes visits (in person and virtual) to the IAC (Instituto de Astrofísica das Canárias) facilities and to the Observatories of the Canary Islands.
