rAn: raising awareness about natural disasters was a project with the support of the Erasmus+ programme which began in 2019 and lasted for two years.

rAn project aimed at assisting children at primary education to cope with emergency situations, by developing a serious game for raising their awareness about natural disasters and emergency preparedness.

In this game, the player is intended to survive a natural disaster and develop a resilient community in view of periodic hazards. The serious game was based on a dynamic storyboard supported by interactive elements such as quizzes, puzzles and mini-games.

The project also developed methodological learning frameworks for raising awareness of primary school children and support material for teachers.
