Our Space Our Future is a project funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, with 8 partners from the United Kingdom, Italy, Denmark and Portugal, among them, NUCLIO.
The project aims to foster the interest of young students in space-related topics, bringing space science and technology to the classroom.
Space is a stable growing sector, that provides many career opportunities for young students. However, few young people consider pursuing a career in a space-related field. We want to inspire our students, guiding them towards new paths they didn’t know were available.
Space is closer than we think, and we do not need a rocket to reach it. Our Space is developing a set of tools and activities to engage with students at an early age and show them how space impacts their daily life, even though we might not be aware of it. Being one of the most inspiring topics out there, both for students and teachers, space covers almost every aspect of life, allowing us to develop interdisciplinary activities that build a lifelong interest in the STEAM subjects.
