O Go-Lab (Global Online Science Labs for Inquiry Learning at School) was a European project co-funded by the European Commission under the Seventh Framework Program uniting 19 organizations from twelve countries, including NUCLIO.

The project was born with the aim to facilitate the use of innovative learning technologies in STEM education, with a particular focus on online laboratories (Labs), in order to enrich the classroom experience and also learning activities outside the classroom. Its purpose was to give students an opportunity to gain practical experience in science by carrying out experiments using modern laboratory equipment, to deepen their knowledge and feel motivated for a scientific career in the future.

Go-Lab created the Go-Lab Initiative infrastructure to provide access to the Go-Lab Ecosystem. Using the Go-Lab Ecosystem, teachers can find several Labs and Apps, and create customized Inquiry Learning Spaces (ILSs). These resources allow students to experience real scientific work.
