NUCLIO recently organized two engaging online sessions for Portuguese Physics teachers, introducing them to the Discovery Space project and its powerful educational platform. Over 80 teachers attended, showing strong interest in bringing innovation into their classrooms.
In the first session, the project’s goals and its potential to transform science education was presented. Participants had a hands-on walkthrough of the Discovery Space platform and its interactive learning scenarios, followed by the exchange of ideas and reflections.
The second session focused on the practical application of these scenarios in the classroom. Teachers learned how to create accounts and students groups, and implementation strategies were discussed. They also learned how to take part in the Spring into Discovery Space – Implementation Challenge. One lucky participant could win an all-expenses-paid spot at the DSpace Summer School in Greece this July — among other exciting prizes!
The sessions sparked great engagement and set the stage for future implementations of DSPACE scenarios across Portugal.
