Join us for the OTTERS Summer School 2024!

The school is developed in the context of the project OTTERS – Citizen Science for Water Stewardship

The OTTERS course will specifically target the educational sector, focusing on secondary teachers. The primary objective is to equip educators with the essential tools and expertise required to empower students and enhance their understanding of the marine & freshwater environment.

The overarching goal is to cultivate a cadre of teachers with the necessary skills, institutional support, and knowledge to inspire students to take proactive measures in monitoring ocean health, combating pollution, and advocating for ocean stewardship. The course will concentrate on providing teachers with effective methods and resources to encourage young citizens to recognize their role in marine and freshwater environmental management.

This school is included in the 2024 training activities of the European School Innovation Academy – ESIA.

ERASMUS+

In case your school or organization does not have the funds to cover the costs of your participation in the Summer School, there is another option: you can apply to be funded by by the ERASMUS+ Programme.

Please note that the Erasmus+ KA1 application can only be submitted by the school or the organization – no individual applications can be submitted.

The deadline for application is 20 February 2024.
