FRONTIERSBringing Nobel Prize Physics to the teaching of Natural Sciences – was an educational project co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ agency that aimed to bring Modern Physics into the classroom.

The FRONTIERS project brought together expertise from frontier scientific research and educational research in formal and informal science learning, along with user communities across Europe, in order to demonstrate how Nobel Prize winning science can be systematically integrated in the school curriculum.

With 6 partners from 5 countries (Portugal, Greece, France, Italy and Ireland), the project integrated materials, resources and tools ready to use in the classroom, also offering a set of activities prepared by experts in physics and education, focused on different current topics such as Black Holes, Astroparticle Physics, Gravitational Waves, etc.
