Space Awareness was funded by the European Commission under the H2020 program, aiming to inspire and inform young people about current research and issues related to space sciences and the numerous career opportunities offered by space.
The project offers several resources and activities to motivate students and teachers towards the space sciences, using space as a source of inspiration for science and technology and to develop a sense of global citizenship.
Resources are available in several languages.
This international consortium, coordinated by the University of Leiden, in the Netherlands, comprises around 11 partners and more than 19 dissemination nodes.
In Portugal it has the collaboration of NUCLIO and Ciência Viva.
